Grapevine native Post Malone is taking his talents from the stage to the runway with the launch of his fashion brand, Austin Post Apparel. His debut collection, Season One: At First Light, made waves during Paris Fashion Week, reimagining Western heritage for a global audience.
Malone’s designs celebrate the cowboy as more than a figure of rugged workwear, as the embodiment of authenticity, independence and a deep connection to the land. Denim-on-denim looks were redefined with sharp tailoring and modern details, while velvet jackets adorned with gold stars added a rock-and-roll edge to the Western silhouette.
One standout element was fringe, a nod to its frontier origins as functional rain-shedding trim. In Malone’s hands, it became a statement of movement and freedom, transforming the classic jacket into a piece of wearable art.
Every outfit was grounded by Lucchese boots, underscoring Malone’s Texas roots, while the surprise appearance of a horse on the runway hammered home his commitment to the lifestyle he’s showcasing.
With Austin Post Apparel, the goal is creating a new frontier where Western grit meets high fashion. For Grapevine’s most famous son, it’s yet another bold reinvention.
