If you’re the type to eschew spring vacation and stay home in order to binge watch the newest streaming true crime documentary, there’s a television currently on the market that puts all others to shame.
Enter: The 77-inch OLED transparent television, the first of its kind, providing a jumbo-sized level of entertainment and encouraging homeowners all over the world to experience something that’s literally never been seen before.
Upon setup, two viewing options are available: full transparent viewing, or high-definition images portrayed on a black shade curtain, reverting the viewer back to a standard OLED television. The virtual-shade rises and lowers easily with the touch of a button. The transparent option for viewing is certainly eye-opening, but viewers can easily switch to a comfortable backdrop for more traditional television consumption.
In keeping with the clean, minimalist look, adding multiple devices to run on the television is a cord-free endeavor. All televisions come with LG’s Zero Connect Box, a wireless cord bay to connect gaming stations and other devices. The box can then transmit a 4K signal from up to 30 feet away to the television.
Despite a rather high price, these televisions are still flying off the shelves – reminding us that little can get in the way of a group of Netflix-enthusiasts, and a room with a view is always in demand.
