November has arrived, and with it comes a slew of turkey, stuffing and all of the pumpkin pie you can fit into your stomach. October may have come and gone, but Southlake residents will remember all of the great things that happened last month.
1. Dragon Midseason MVP Poll
Running Oct. 14-27, the Ultimate Dragon Pride Promotion Midseason MVP poll was one of Southlake Style’s most popular pieces of content on the website, amassing over 4,800 page views and 1,800 shares. That’s because Southlake loves its Dragons and is eager to support them whenever they can. Congratulations to wide receiver RJ Maryland for winning offensive MVP, senior captain Benecio Porras for winning defensive MVP, running back James Lehman winning rising star, defensive lineman Calder Bray winning unsung hero and CREW winning MVP spirit squad member.
2. Five Things To Experience At Southlake Oktoberfest 2021
Southlake was very excited to have Oktoberfest return to Southlake Town Square on Oct. 15 — so much so that readers couldn’t get enough of Southlake Style’s five things to experience list ahead of the weekend of fun. Whether it was the food, the beer, the stein-hoisting contest, the live music by The Molly Ringwalds or the Weiner dog race and costume contest, residents loved celebrating Southlake Oktoberfest’s 20th anniversary.
