1. Southlake Style Launches Readers’ Choice 2022
It’s time! Every year, we love watching as readers flock to our website eager to support their favorite businesses in the area. After hundreds of businesses were nominated in early January, we’re now in the voting phase where you can vote for the best businesses in entertainment, food and drink, health and wellness, home, retail and services! Simply go on our website and vote for your favorite businesses through Feb. 13!
2. Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen Coming To Town Square
A new Mediterranean concept is coming to Southlake. With a location already in Garland, Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen will open another location at town square later this year, according to its website. The concept serves up modern Mediterranean cuisine with a Texan twist, with dishes including crab cake sliders, jalapeño-rubbed salmon tacos and Turkish grilled meatballs. The new kitchen will open at 355 N. Carroll Ave.

It’s no surprise that residents have health and wellness on their minds. After all, they’re hot off of the heels of making their New Year’s resolutions. 4. Southlake Carroll Named Best High School Baseball Team In State
Southlake Carroll Baseball is already seeing success ahead of its new season. In late January, MaxPreps.com named the Dragons the best high school baseball team in the state. Noting its 2018 and 2019 state championship-winning seasons, MaxPreps.com pointed out the eight all-district players that are returning from last year, including pitcher Griffin Herring. With the season kickoff later this month, there’s no telling where Dragon Baseball will head in 2022.
5. Blue 22 Opens In Trophy Club
A new sports bar is introducing diners to a whole new spread of bar grub at Trophy Club. Located at 2230 Hwy. 114, Suite 500, Blue 22 Sports Grill is a locally owned and operated restaurant that features fresh-ground burgers, hand-cut steaks, all-natural seafood and delicious sandwiches with house-made dressing. Blue 22 is open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight.
