May has been a busy month. Between community events, giveaways and graduations, Southlake has had plenty of reasons to celebrate. Dive into some of the top stories last month and see what Southlake readers were most excited about.
1. Grapevine Hosts Main Street Fest 2022
The magic of Main Street Fest returned to Grapevine last month. Since 1984, this family-friendly festival has featured European-style food, a craft brew garden with 30 different breweries, carnival rides and games and some of the most versatile street performers in the area. With additional vintage railroad excursions and tours through the Grapevine Main Station tower, locals found more than a few ways to have fun at the 38th annual Main Street Fest.
2. CSHS Announces 2022-2023 Green Jackets
Carroll’s Green Jackets for 2022-2023 have been selected. Then during National Nurses Week from May 9 to 12, medical professionals got to take advantage of the same benefits the following week. While these promotions are no longer active, moviegoers can stay plugged in to new specials online at EVOCinemas.com.
4. 10 Lego Fun Facts
You may have noticed our fun cover back in March featuring a Southlake Town Hall built entirely out of Legos. That month’s listicle featured 10 fun facts about the history of Lego and its iconic bricks. We can only guess as to why that article is so popular with readers two months later, but it might have something to do with “Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga” being released. May the fourth be with you.
