Here we will be covering UIL news, promoting Dragon athletes and sharing fun, interactive content about current and former Dragon players.
Southlake Carroll has a new season schedule, with its first scrimmage scheduled for September 24 against the DeSoto Eagles. This comes after the UIL modified the 5A and 6A activities calendar for the 2020-2021 school year due to COVID-19, which you can read more about here. Unfortunately, this did knock out preseason play, including the much-anticipated Dodge vs. Dodge matchup, previously scheduled to occur on August 30. The good news is the regular schedule remains intact and gives us all some Friday Night Lights through the season’s final district game on December 4.
Until kickoff, we are hyping up the start of the season with an array of quizzes, a photo contest and the "Dragon Nation Survey." Those known for their Dragon spirit should enter the "Ultimate Dragon Pride Photo Contest" while trivia fanatics will get a kick out of our "Follow The Dragon" quiz.
