Southlake Style sadly had to cancel our 2020 Women's Luncheon event due to COVID-19. Our team is hard at work preparing for our 2021 Women's Luncheon — more details to come!
Our keynote speaker needs no introduction. Texas Health Southlake President Traci Bernard has been a pillar within the Southlake community for years. With an eagerness to give back to the community and a captivating spirit, we knew she was the right person to lead a conversation about shaping community resilience for our fifth annual Women’s Luncheon.
Traci has had a long career in health care. Starting out as a nurse and rising the ranks to become a hospital president came out of hard work and determination. After joining Texas Health Southlake as president a year after it opened, Traci focused on creating a workplace culture that would make the hospital stand out.
“I wanted to get out of my car and love going to work again,” Traci told Southlake Style back in 2018. “And that's the kind of culture we have tried to create here: where people truly want to work, the doctors want to practice medicine and the patients get great care because of that.”
Her dedication to work for others doesn’t stop with the hospital. Traci sits on several community boards and volunteers with several nonprofit organizations. Traci has been recognized for her tenacity through several honors including Southlake Chamber of Commerce's Citizen Of The Year, SafeHaven of Tarrant County's 2018 Legacy of Women Award and Southlake Style’s 2018 Brian R. Stebbins Award.
From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m on Friday, October 16, Traci will share how she believes 2020 has affected Southlake and what she hopes to see as the community shapes its future. Reserve your seat by purchasing tickets when they go live on 817Tix.com on September 4.
While it’s our goal to gather with you in person, we want to provide our attendees an option for how they’d like to be a part of our event and will be offering ticket options for both in-person and virtual attendance. Our top priority is the health and safety of our attendees, partners and staff and for everyone to have a choice on how they’d like to join us. Stay tuned for information about a virtual option!
