We love making connections with our Southlake community, but this month, we were able to share our message on a national scale. After closing our Zero-K Virtual Fun Run on May 15, we were contacted by a team at an emergency department in Rhode Island who found out about our virtual event. While they came to it after our registration had closed, they were inspired to host a Zero-K of their own.
“I was looking for an activity that would take everyone’s mind off of COVID for a little bit,” Pauline Imbruglia says.
The group printed out bibs, were able to have a little bit of fun and even had a trophy for the participant deemed the winner. We would like to thank this team of first responders for their service. And we are so honored to have you as members in this first-ever event.
