Scaled to Perfection

When the first Jeep Wrangler Dragon concept was introduced in 2012 at the Beijing International Automotive Expo, it was an immediate global hit. Enthusiasts the world over fell in love with the strength and power found in the design reminiscent of royalty from centuries past. Already an icon for decades, the Jeep Wrangler ascended a 12 percent sales peak in 2013.  With a 2014 Dragon Edition now in showrooms across the country, this masculine mascot on wheels is all but guaranteed to set sales records in and around Southlake.

Based on the Jeep Wrangler Sahara, the Dragon Edition is only available only as a four-door unlimited model in a high-gloss black finish with matching hardtop. Stylish dragon-esque features are found throughout: on the front grille slats, headlamps and most notably, the 18-inch, five-spoke matte black rims, all of which are highlighted in a bronze satin trim that adds a distinctive touch of royalty.

The black and bronze theme continues inside with heated black Nappa leather seats emblazoned with satin bronze dragon details on the outer bolster surfaces, center console armrest and steering wheel. Other interior touches include high-gloss black instrument panels and door handles and satin bronze accent trim on the steering wheel spokes.

This high-end dragon styling also comes with plenty of substance thanks to a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine — two-time winner of the prestigious Ward’s 10 Best Engines award — which delivers 285 horsepower and a respectable 21 miles per gallon.
