With a “something for everyone” approach, Luna Grill Fresh Mediterranean has a mission to provide higher-caliber fare such as lamb and Cornish hen that you would find in a fine dining establishment to a warm and inviting fast-casual environment at affordable pricing.
“We still offer all the favorites like gyros, hummus and falafel,” says Chief Cuisine Officer Maria Pourteymour, “but you will also find menu items like sweet potato fries, gourmet salads and unique offerings that you won't find at other Mediterranean restaurants. The inspiration for the menu at Luna Grill was to create items that were made from scratch, grilled to order, so as to maximize flavor and reduce the amount of chemicals, additives and preservatives in our food.”
Southlake diners will be able to enjoy Luna Grill Fresh Mediterranean when it comes to Park Village in Spring 2015. Originally a San Diego staple, before they felt comfortable expanding, Luna Grill wanted to be certain they could source local ingredients for their menu items at other locations. In addition, according to Vice President of Real Estate Greg Thorburn, a company culture had to be in place that would allow replication of the high level of service they were so used to providing customers. “We also looked for markets that we felt valued community, where a restaurant like ours could join and serve that local community well.
“Over time, it became clear to us that the collection of local communities that make up the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex was the right place to hopefully develop a new loyal following like we have across the local communities that make up San Diego over the past 10 years,” Thorburn says. “We look forward to getting open in Southlake in the spring of 2015 and invite everyone to come in and check us out!”
