Baseball Out of Playoffs at the Hands of Lewisville Hebron

May 16, 2016 07:44AM ● By Kevin
Lewisville Hebron put together two wins to eliminate Carroll baseball from the playoffs in the Class 6A Region I Area round. The Dragons were defeated 4-1 in the first game and 2-1 in the second game.

Austin Stone hit a two-run double to break the 1-1 tie in the top of the seventh inning of the first game.

In game two, Hebron came out to lead the game early with a run scored in the bottom of the first. The Dragons battled back with a run of their own in the top of the third, but it wasn't enough, as Hebron fired back with the game-winning run in the bottom of the fourth.

The Dragons graduate 20 seniors at the conclusion of the year, turning the team over to a handful of upperclassman and a new regime of young Carroll baseball players.
