Dragon Varsity Hockey to Compete at Nationals

Feb 09, 2018 02:43PM ● Published by Maleesa Johnson

After winning the Texas State Championship last Saturday, the Carroll Dragons Varsity Hockey Team will be hitting the road to the National Championships.

Last weekend, the Dragons competed in the state championship. They played a best of three playoff series against Jesuit Dallas. The series would only see two games as the Dragons put a quick end to the competition, with an 8-4 victory in Game 1 and a 6-3 win in Game 2.

This is the Dragons' second-consecutive year to head to the National Championships. Under head coach Knute Anderson, the team will travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 22-26, in hopes of bringing home even more hardware.
