Calling all Dragons: Get ready for a Western-themed bash to top them all. Carroll Education Foundation (CEF) is kicking off its 20th Anniversary Celebration, themed Boot Scootin’ Dragons, September 10, 2016, at the Southlake Hilton. Heading up the anniversary event are co-chairs Sarah Mason and Kathy Talley, who both have years of event-planning experience under their belts.

For 20 years, CEF has given back to schools in Carroll ISD through numerous classroom and program grants, senior scholarships and teacher awards. It has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants and has distributed $200,000 to date.

Talley said in a press release she is “honored to be chairing Boot Scootin’ Dragons. It is truly wonderful that the foundation has been supporting CISD students and teachers for 20 years, and we look forward to carrying on the tradition.”

Mason added, “This year’s 20th Anniversary celebration is shaping up to be the biggest event to date, and we look forward to seeing our community parents and businesses to benefit CISD’s teachers and students.”

Exclusive cash sponsorship opportunities are available. Those interested should contact Laura Grosskopf, Executive Director, at lgrosskopf@southlakecef.org.
