Successful marketing advisors will be energized by efforts to help local businesses flourish while collaborating with in-house art and content development teams. They will also enjoy listening, strategizing and presenting need-based marketing solutions for customers of this market-leading publication serving the most vibrant suburb in DFW.

If you’re driven and looking for the opportunity to lead your own future, then look no further. Proactive and thoughtful questions along with your high-achieving sales will be reported directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and grow a database of new sales opportunities to meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Build strong relationships with local business owners and decision-makers through marketing strategy ideation, great customer service and consistent brand representation.
  • Analyze and understand the competitive marketplace and industry trends.
  • Consult with clients and prospects to create customized, multi-platform marketing plans including print, digital and event sponsorships.
  • Execute and communicate weekly sales reporting. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree and equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Consultative sales and customer service experience.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Strong and transparent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Strong focus on creating customer satisfaction with integrity. 
  • Results-driven and self-motivated with a positive attitude. 
  • A passion for print, digital and event sponsorship marketing and advertising trends.
  • Cold calling, prospecting and negotiating skills.
  • High competency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and CRM.
  • Confidence in speaking and presenting to high-level decision makers.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $65,000-plus year one potential at 100% to sales goal (salary + commission)
