Join the Fort Worth Runners Club on Sunday, April 22, at their 2018 Earth Day 5K. The day will feature a 5K Run/Walk and free kids 1K fun run, so the whole family can come out and participate.
For a day of family fun, food, music and crafts, head over to Bedford's Earth Day Block Party hosted by Unified Missions Foundation and The Awareness Project on Saturday, April 21. This year's event will focus on plastic pollution and the damage it can cause. So make sure to stop by to learn about the topic and visit with the party's diverse set of vendors.
Marshall Grain will host a special gardening class on Saturday to show locals how to create shade gardens. Come out to the Grapevine landscaping and gardening location to see how to choose the right plants for your shaded parts of your yard. You're sure to walk away with a unique palette of plants of different colors and textures.
Southlake's Athleta will host a free yoga class on Saturday to ring in Earth Day. Bring your mat to the Southlake Town Square fitness boutique and get ready to get in tune with yourself and the world we live in.
Urban Vybe Studios will host Earth Day Yoga in the Park at the park right outside their studio on Sunday at 8:45 a.m. The all-levels class is free to members and guests and will include refreshments after.
For a completely immersive Earth Day experience, head over to Fair Park for this year's EarhX. This interactive three-day event will help locals learn more about the planet while also providing lots of fun educational activities. And your kids will love their expansive petting zoo.
Flower Mound's Earth Day Celebration
On Friday, April 20, Flower Mound's Public Library will host a free Earth Day Celebration full of fun activities for adults and kids alike. They are even hosting a free tree giveaway, so you may walk out with a bit of greenery of your own.
Grapevine's Earth Day Celebration
Enjoy some of the planet's tastiest creations by stopping by the Earth Day Celebration at the Town Square Gazebo in Grapevine on Saturday. The day will be full of products from the Farmer's Market of Grapevine vendors, educational presentations, crafts and information on how to protect our environment.
Green Toys In-Store Earth Day Event
Whole Earth Provision will host an in-store event for Earth Day on Sunday to showcase a few of Green Toys dough products.
