Southlake will soon be welcoming a new player on the field of entertainment. A state-of-the-art gaming facility that has already made its mark in Plano and numerous other locations across the U.S. and Canada, Activate is set to open in the former Tapout Fitness location at 2717 E. Southlake Blvd. this April.
“We’re thrilled to open our second Activate location in Dallas-Fort Worth," director of marketing Will Gray says. "As we expand our immersive experiences across the U.S., Southlake is the perfect place for us to invite new players into the dynamic world of Activate. The experience is like no other, and we look forward to entering this fantastic new market."
Just like its other facilities, Activate Southlake is decked out with multiple gaming rooms designed to captivate gamers of all ages and bring them together in healthy and active play. Guests can sign up in groups of two-to-five players and can level up, challenge each other and win prizes along the way.
Gaming rooms planned for Southlake’s new location include the fast-paced Mega Grid that showcases 500-plus multi-activated rainbow colored tiles, a digital dodgeball-like game called Strike and an updated version of laser tag. Guests can also take their pop-a-shot to the next level at the neon-drenched hoops court to see who has the best shot.
What sets Activate apart is its community-centric approach. The games are designed not only to entertain, but also to foster interaction, teamwork and even a bit of friendly competition among family and friends. In a world often divided by screens, Activate Southlake will offer an arena where digital meets physical — a common ground where generations can engage and play together.
