If you buy Community Coffee right now, you’re also supporting Hurricane Laura relief efforts. The company will donate 10% of proceeds from the sales of its coffee and tea products to support The Salvation Army’s Hurricane Laura relief efforts, according to a press release.
“We have seen firsthand how this hurricane has affected our local communities, and we are humbled to play a role in the rebuilding efforts,” says Community Coffee Company CEO David Belanger in a press release. “We know that there’s still a long journey to recovery for the affected areas in Louisiana and Texas, and we’re committed to supporting these communities in the weeks and months to come.”
Up to $100,000 will be donated from the sales of its products at retail grocery stores in Louisiana and Texas through October 31. More information about Community Coffee’s relief efforts can be found on its website.
