Opening over the summer, Creating Space is a professional organizing business led by Yuri Moreno. After working in the pharmaceutical industry for 17 years, Yuri learned that organizing was her passion in 2020.
“I started thinking about what I like doing — and organizing space is something that I love,” Yuri says. “It’s very therapeutic to me.”
Charging an hourly fee for her clients, Yuri starts every session with a 30-60-minute consultation assessing the room and discussing the overall vision and goals. After taking measurements of the space she has to work with, Yuri begins decluttering and cleaning the space and organizing it to where everything is properly labeled and easy to access.
“I walk into a room, they tell me what their vision is and I take it from there,” Yuri remarks. “I handle pretty much everything that has to do with personal organizing.”
