Texans love IKEA, so much so that they're willing to drive all the way out to Grand Prairie or Frisco to shop there. Now Southlake residents will have a new IKEA store much closer to home.
The new format store will have all of the features of an IKEA plan and order point, including home furnishing inspiration and personalized interior design planning, as well as a pickup point where customers can retrieve their online purchases. While customers can't take products home on their shopping day, orders can be delivered or scheduled to be picked up from the store.
"Everything is bigger in Texas, but it doesn't have to be further," market area manager Rob Parsons says. "We are so excited to open IKEA Southlake and get closer to our DFW customers."
The new IKEA store will open at 1041 E. Southlake Blvd., Suite 100 in Park Village later this year.
