Christmas has come early for underprivileged families thanks to the Lockheed Martin Corporation. From 3:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Sundance Square in Fort Worth, Lockheed Martin will host a toy drive for Toys For Tots, a holiday donation program managed by the United States Marine Corps. Good Samaritans are encouraged to come out and donate new, unwrapped toys for the drive, as well as prepaid cell phones and gas cards for families who need them most.
Former Dallas Cowboy and veteran Chad Hennings will be present to greet attendants and thank them for their donations, according to a media release. Bridget Lauderdale, Lockheed Martin Integrated Fighter Group vice president and general manager, will also be in attendance, along with a few U.S. Marines, W.C. Stripling Middle School JROTC cadets, Lockheed Martin employees and their family members.
If you would like to support Lockheed Martin, Toys for Tots and this wonderful holiday cause, come out to Main and 4th Street in downtown Fort Worth on Tuesday evening and donate any toys you can.
