Peppa Pig World of Play, Shanghai
Kids' favorite cartoon pig is moving to Texas. Peppa Pig World of Play will open its doors in Grapevine in early 2019.
The indoor family play attraction, located at Grapevine Mills Mall, will bring the character and her friends to life with its 14 interactive and themed play zones. Visitors can do everything from explore Peppa’s house to jump in muddy puddles with the pig and her friends and ride Grandpa Pig’s train to crawl through tunnels to explore her friend Rebecca Rabbit’s home.
This is just the second location of its kind to open. The only other open Peppa Pig World of Play is in Shanghai. But the group behind the project is excited to join the Metroplex and create a fun attraction for locals and tourists alike.
"Dallas-Fort Worth is the perfect location for us to launch the first Peppa Pig World of Play in the U.S. as it joins two other popular Merlin Entertainment family attractions, SEA LIFE Aquarium and LEGOLAND Discovery Center,” attraction manager for Peppa Pig World of Play Tyron Calton, says via email. “North Texas families, as well as those visiting Grapevine from neighboring states, are sure to enjoy this immersive play experience based on the much-loved animated series.”
There is no official date as to when the space will open its doors, but it’s sure to provide snorts and giggles for the whole family.
