A new boutique fitness studio is coming to Southlake. Row House, a high-intensity, low impact workout class primarily using rowing machines, will open on August 26. But before they host their grand opening celebration with food and drinks, Row House is hosting a launch weekend from August 22 to 25.
Over this span, Row House will host free classes for anyone who wants to give the workout a try. Guests can walk in, get assigned to a machine, put their belongings in a guest locker, learn the proper technique and be guided through a high-energy class.
Each Row House class is 45 minutes long and led by a coach ready to guide people of all fitness levels through the class. By leaning into the rowing analogy, Row House wants to show people that when they are rowing, the whole class is on the same boat.
“We don’t show individual stats to the class – we show the boat stats to the class,” Southlake owner Scott Lambert says. “During a Row House class we all work out as a team but each rower determines his or her own intensity level. This allows highly trained athletes as well as first-timers to work out together and both come away with a workout that meets their individual needs.”
Lambert says the studio will host lanch classes after their grand opening for people who can’t come out during launch weekend. So whether you stop by this weekend or wait until the official start date, get ready to hop aboard the Row House movement.
