Operation Kindness
The Sam Pack family is all about kindness. That’s why they will be recognized with the annual Kindness to Animals Award on October 25.
Sam Pack started the Sam Pack Automotive Group in 1980 and grew it to now own four five-star Ford dealerships, one Chevrolet dealership and a Subaru dealership in Grapevine.
According to a press release, the Sam Pack Automotive Group has been a reliable community partner to Operation Kindness ever since 2015, hosting multiple adoption events at their Subaru dealership, donating $100 for every car sold in December and giving a $10,000 gift to the nonprofit in 2018.
“We are thrilled to recognize the Sam Pack family as the recipients of this year’s Kindness to Animals Award,” Operation Kindness CEO Robert Catalani says via press release. “The generous support that they have shown over the years through their hosted events and donations has helped save the lives of hundreds of homeless animals. We are so appreciative of their kindness.”
Since it was founded in 1976, Operation Kindness has saved more than 105,000 animals and cared for an average of 400 animals a day. Operation Kindness is the leading no-kill shelter in North Texas and serves as the go-to partner for 47 municipal animal shelters and rescue centers that have run out of space or medical supplies.
Operation Kindness board president Jim Gibson and CEO Robert Catalani will present the Kindness to Animals Award to the Pack family at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 25 at the Subaru dealership in Grapevine.
