Out of over 49,000 food establishments in the state, one popular Grapevine deli was featured in Yelp’s top 100 places to eat in Texas.
A local favorite since 2002, Weinberger’s Deli has captivated the hearts and taste buds of residents across DFW and beyond. Appearing at No. 93 on the list, Weinberger’s was one of seven places recommended in Tarrant County alongside Coco Shrimp, Ober Here, Taste Community and Del Campo Empanadas in Fort Worth; Pastaza in Trophy Club and Koracha Thai in Bedford.
The selections are endless with an assortment of sandwiches, gyros, sausages, cheesesteaks and cubanos.
One fan favorite includes the highly rated Italian Beef, a 1928 family recipe cooked fresh daily and served on scratch-made Italian bread the way you like it – wet or dry with either sweet, hot or mild peppers. Another popular choice is the Weinberger Reuben, made with hot corned beef and pastrami, melted Swiss, sauerkraut and Russian dressing, then grilled on marble rye. Last but not least, order up the cleverly named Mark Cuban, a ham and roast pork cubano with melted provolone cheese, kosher dill slices and yellow mustard on pressed Italian bread.
