
The APEX Arts League is continuing its mission to advance art, artists and education in DFW.
A home for the arts in Southlake and beyond, the APEX Arts League recently released its event calendar for its 2022-2023 season. Kicking off on Sunday, Sept. 25 is a performance by the Dallas Bach Society at White's Chapel United Methodist Church, with tickets available now online. Fall events include a "Chasing The Texas Sky" art exhibit on Oct. 2, a Cinema D'Arte event on Oct. 27 and an Avant Chamber Ballet performance of "The Nutcracker" on Nov. 17. On Nov. 27, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a concert on the go for league members exclusively. Then on Dec. 8, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a holiday concert, followed by a Fort Worth Chorale on Dec. 10.
In the spring, chamber music will be held at White's Chapel on Jan. 15, followed by another Cinema D'Arte event on Jan. 26. Strokes of Art In The Square will take place on Feb. 19, followed by the APEX Jazz Fest on Feb. 25. After the Spring Cliburn Community Concert, the North Texas Performing Arts' Children's Theater will put on a special show on March 5, followed by the Texas Chamber Music Project on March 26. April will feature both a Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Family Concert, as well as an Avant Chamber Ballet performance on the 6th and 23rd respectively. Art In The Square will take place April 28-30, then the Avant Chamber Performance will return for one last performance on May 7. The last art reception of the season will be on May 14, followed by the last Cinema D'Arte event on June 29.
