Art In The Square kicked off its newest season by announcing its featured artists and beneficiaries for 2022.
On Sunday, Feb. 20, community supporters gathered at Southlake Town Hall for the 8th annual Strokes Of Art In The Square kickoff event. Attendants socialized, enjoyed refreshments and celebrated as the event organizers revealed the featured artists for the upcoming art festival.
The featured artists for Art In The Square 2022 include Radim Schreiber, Rachel Dory, Kim Eubank, Julie Keaten-Reed, Christopher Brown, Kevin Zuckerman, Keith Andry and Prince Ducan-Williams, according to a media release. Residents can vote for their favorite artwork at town hall through April 1. The artist with the most votes will be recognized with the 2022 People's Choice Award during Art In The Square on April 22-24.
In addition, the festival organizers announced the 28 beneficiaries of their upcoming event, including the APEX Arts League, Call A Ride Southlake, GRACE, the Me Squared Cancer Foundation and Metroport Meals On Wheels. View the full list of beneficiaries online at ArtInTheSquare.com.
