Natasha Hatcher, Denton County resident, entrepreneur and mother of four, is the first franchisee of bodybar, opening the third location right here in Southlake. Hatcher, wife of NFL football player, Jason Hatcher, current Defensive End for the brWashington Redskins and former Defensive End for the Dallas Cowboys, prepares to open the newest studio in mid-September. bodybar Southlake is located at 1241 E. State Highway 114, Suite 120.
"Living an active lifestyle is important for me and my family, and so is being a good, healthy example forbrthe community” said Hatcher in a press release announcing the business' plans to open in Southlake.
“The moment I took my first class at their Plano location almost three bryears ago, I knew this was the brand I wanted to be a part of. I have taken classes from other studios, brbut bodybar is different. Their studios are gorgeous, you know walking in that you’re about to brexperience something top notch. The teachers truly care about you and are passionate about what they brdo. In fact, all of their staff is genuine and real. When I was ready to make the first step towards opening brmy own studio, I definitely did my homework, and I am confident that bodybar Studios is the company brthat is worth the investment. This is such an exciting time for me, my family, and for bodybar. I can’t brwait to bring bodybar to Southlake, TX.”
Founded in 2012 by business development and marketing strategist, Laurie brGatlin, bodybar Studios was launched to help take traditional Pilates routines to the next level. bodybar brStudios is a fitness boutique that provides equipment-based, high-intensity classes inspired by proven brPilates principles.
A member of bodybar for more than 3 years, Hatcher agrees with the high intensity training with true pilates principles.
"As you strengthen your powerhouse (core), you learn to control your daily movements, whether you're in the studio or cooking dinner," she siad. "Posture, correct alignment, and whole body endurance are all beneficial to our everyday lives."
bodybar Southlake will be a place for balance and transformation, Hatcher said, with aspirations to offer a range of classes from intense cardio classes, to classic pilates classes. There will also be a chair class to activate every muscle in the body.
Social gatherings will be held every quarter to benefit area nonprofits.
"I chose the southlake area because it compliments bodybar's love for the community," Hatcher said. "Southlake has always been one of my favorite areas in the DFW, so when the opportunity presented itself, it was a no brainer."
As for the future, Hatcher would like to have created a great rapport with the community, done well financially, and more importantly, changed some fitness lives along the way.
The grand opening is scheduled for the last week of October. Membership rates can be found at bodybarstudios.com. The plans are to offer the first week free; after that, the standard membership rates will apply.
Hatcher was raised in Louisiana. She's lived in the Dallas area since 2006.
