October 6, 2015, is National Night Out, and Carillon is making preparations for anbrunforgettable event. The evening will kick off at The Oasis with a Carillonbrneighborhood photo at 6 p.m. All children who participate in the neighborhoodbrphoto will receive a coloring book (while supplies last).
Once the snapshot isbrtaken, residents will return to their neighborhoods for neighborhood blockbrparties. The Social Committee (currently at 20 members) and Block Captainsbr(currently at 17 members), have arranged to have a fire engine, police car andbrpolice motorcycle along with some police officers and firefighters rotatingbrthroughout various spots in Carillon. It's a great opportunity for children tobrlook at the equipment, meet first responders and say thank you.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Last year, more thanbr16,000 communities and 38 million neighbors took part in this event.brTo learn more, visit NATW.org.
