The Carroll ISD Board of Trustees approved Mike Wyrick asbrthe new principal at Durham Intermediate School. Wyrick has previously servedbrin the district as Dawson Middle School assistant principal for the past fivebryears and has been in public education for 15 years. He started the first ninebryears of his career as a high school history and economics teacher and coachbrfor various districts across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Next, Wyrick served asbran assistant principal in White Settlement ISD for one year before he startedbrat Dawson Middle School. His leadership experience includes implantation andbrmanagement of campus operations, increase in student achievement,brteacher/campus staff professional development and teacher evaluation and UnitedbrStates Air Force aircraft communication and navigation specialist.
