When Michelle Moore joined the Carroll ISD School Board in 2015, she set out to serve the community and make a difference. Her service and commitment has been recognized. Moore recentlybrearned the designation of Master Trustee, the highest designation recognized bybrthe Texas Association of School Boards (TASB).
“Leadership TASB was abrunique opportunity to learn and grow as a Trustee,” Moore told MySouthlakeNews.com. “The program allowed me to build relationships with schoolbrboard members from around the state and gain insight on the challenges andbropportunities facing public schools in Texas. I believe this experience willbrmake me a better Trustee for CISD.”
Moore's accolades don'tbrstop there; she was also named the 2017 Volunteer of the Year by the SouthlakebrChamber of Commerce. Moore serves the community in many ways: Co-Coach with CarrollbrISD’s Odyssey of the Mind program, NCL Southlake Fashion Show SponsorshipbrCo-Chair, Eubanks Intermediate School and Carroll Elementary PTObrfundraiser, member of the Carroll Education Foundation Advisory Committee,brSouthlake Association for Gifted and Talented Grant Chairperson and member ofbrthe CISD School Board.
In 2016, Southlake Style highlighted Moore as onebrof its annual Tastemakers.
