The Carroll Education Foundation Culinary Celebration is well on it's way to becoming another successful event! The event will take place on Saturday, September 6, from 6-10 p.m. at the Southlake Hilton.
The theme, "Peace, Love, Dragons," will kick off the evening with the band "The Wonderfuls" and a DJ from DJ Connections. Special student groups, acts and teams will perform on the stage in the tent throughout the night. The live auction will feature unique artwork from a CISD student. All of the money raised from this item will go back to the art department at the senior high school. The student will also receive a $1000 scholarship to the university of their choice once they graduate. Other items on the live auction will be a Lexus for year featuring a new Lexus each month. Try 12 different Lexus vehicles, one a month for a year! A luxury home for a week in an exotic location will also be on the live auction! Also, for the golf and wine fans, there will be a special golf package in the wine country!
Lastly, for the game enthusiasts, there will be a totally remade vintage video game! Beat your kids at Donkey Kong or one of 60 games (all on one machine!) and new LED lighting on your own machine! Dozens of chefs are set to prepare their finest cuisine at the event! These chefs will include Rockfish, Del Frisco's Grill, Truluck's Seafood, Steak and Crab House, Central Market, Brio, Wildwood Grill, and many more!
Come dressed in your 60s/70s apparel and be prepared to win a costume contest complete with prizes and the satisfaction of knowing you're the best dressed at the premiere event of the year!
CEF will once again hold a raffle for a $1000 Southlake Town Square shopping spree! Raffle tickets go on sale August 15 and are 1 for $10, 3 for $25, 6 for $50, or 13 for $100. The lucky winner will shop til they drop!
The Wine Pull will feature hundreds of unique bottles that are worth at least $25 or more! Pay $25 and receive a mystery bottle of your choice. Lucky winners may receive bottles over $200 or more in value! The Jewelry Pull will be sponsored by Grayson Allen Jewelers once again this year! They have exciting plans for this year's Jewelry Pull and an amazing prize!
