After a horrific fire tore through GRACE's medical clinic and food pantry two weeks ago, local businesses and organizations rose up to support the nonprofit in their time of need.
Yesterday, Southlake Chamber of Commerce and the 2018 Southlake Leadership Class hosted a parking lot party and gift card drive at First American Title to fill immediate needs of GRACE's community members. The group had already raised over $5,000 for gift cards before this event began.
Business leaders and citizens from Southlake and beyond dropped off gift cards and cash donations to help GRACE continue its outreach to the community. Scratch Kitchen provided the event's food and beverages.
Malai Kitchen also hosted a benefit night the Friday following the fire and donated 10 percent of their sales from their Southlake and Fort Worth locations, which equated to more than $1,800. Mangia's also donated a percentage of their sales on April 21 to GRACE.
You can still donate to help GRACE monetarily here, or by providing medications that are on their list here.
