OnbrJune 1, the former Cruise Holidays of Southlake boutique travel store rebrandedbras Shangri-La World Travel, a full-service agency providing customized travelbrmanagement for land and sea. The store was formerly a cruise-centric vacationbrmanagement company, working closely with 22 worldwide cruise partneringbrvendors.
Presidentbrof the company, Mike Currie, explains that: “After nine years of marketing ourbrlocal business as a Cruise Specialty Store, Gloria and I feel it is time tobrpromote our global abilities for customization of land-based travel as well. OnbrJune 1, we joined the Signature Travel Network, and via their inventory andbrtechnology, we will be able to serve [clients] even better.”
Shangri-LabrWorld Travel has joined forces with prestigious travel consortia, SignaturebrTravel Network. Currie adds that: “with this affiliation to 450 worldwidebrtravel stores and $6 billion in annual travel purchases, our inventory, travelbramenities and support for our clients is even stronger.”
