Grapevine is getting ready for some double trouble this weekend.
On Saturday, Oct. 15, the Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers will host the 22nd annual Double Trouble 5K and 10K. According to the organization, the signature race is a 100% volunteer-produced event that will feature two different competitions for racers to participate in.
“Double Trouble is unique because it offers racers the opportunity to race twice in one morning,” board member Kelly Richards says. “Both races are run on a closed course through park paths and roads. There are no cars to contend with — just a few hills and beautiful lake views!”
Entry is $40-$50, with proceeds benefitting the Girls On The Run DFW Metroplex nonprofit. To register by Oct. 13, visit LGRAW.com.
