Southlake Style is putting on a special community-wide celebration this Saturday February 25 to honor Dragon Football players and coaches and to showcase its latest publication. The highly anticipated 2011 Dragon Pride Championship Edition celebrates the Dragons undefeated State Championship season with updated photography, player statistics and game recaps along with a special postseason interview with National Head Coach of the Year Hal Wasson.
“The entire city has Dragon Pride and thanks to our many generous sponsors we've been able to put it on paper for the past 6 years,” says Southlake Style editor Mike Tesoriero, “the 2011 season was one for the ages and we're excited to offer this collector's edition to the Dragons biggest fans.”
In support of the community, Southlake Style has pledged 10% of all sales to be donated to the Carroll Athletic Boosters to continue the tradition of excellence in Southlake. In addition, Southlake's Play it Forward will be collecting new and used sporting goods to benefit area sporting teams in need.
Dragon Nation is expected to come out in force to get their copy of the issue, meet and greet the players, Coach Hal Wasson and the voice of Dragon Radio Chuck Kelly who will all be on hand to autograph copies and take photos.
Event goers will also enjoy Dragon themed balloons, popcorn and drinks compliments of Southlake Style and First Financial Bank. Southlake’s own Wildwood Grill will also be on hand serving up their famous appetizers and s’mores for a sweet afternoon treat.
The event to be held this Saturday 2/25 from 2-4pm at First Financial Bank is free, however the special limited edition issues can be purchased for $10 each. Those looking to secure their copies of this limited edition keepsake have already made their online purchase at www.SouthlakeStyle.com.
