Hosted by Southlake Style's 2011 CommunitybrImpact Award Winner the Southlake Women’s Club, this 14th annual eventbrdraws a diverse group of artists from around the nation and has been ranked asbrthe one of the best art festivals in the country. Art, art, art. Withbrclose to 700 applicants this year, more than 150 artists were selected for this nationallybrranked festival and includes something for everyone. Check out the mixed media, paintings,brsculptured metal, ceramics, photography, and jewelry. If you’ve ever wanted to collect art butbraren’t sure how to begin, stop by the artists tent'ss and talk with renowned artists we previewed like Dominique Samyn, David Bjurstrom and Bruce Holwerda.
Stage Presence. Headlinerbrand country sensation, Jo Dee Messina headlines a great lineup of continuousbrentertainment on two stages. Southlake sensation Cole Wilkinson you may have seen him on The VOICE or the cover of this month's issue. Well you can also see him this Saturday at 12:30 as he performs live at this year's event. You canbralso catch up on the action by watching the new jumbotron, which will stream anbrassortment of live performances, a variety of video footage from the festivalbrand more.
Family Fun. Along with the art andbrentertainment, there’s plenty of fun for the young and the young at heart. Children of all ages will enjoy a mixture ofbrapplied art and hands-on activities at the Kids’ Korner where activities rangebrfrom the always-popular face painting to creating an edible piece of sugar artbrand much more!
