The Southlake Historical Society invites everyone to its fourth annual Ghosts ofbrSouthlake Past cemetery tour at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, in historicbrLonesome Dove Cemetery, 2380 Lonesome Dove Road in Southlake.
SouthlakebrMayor Laura Hill will be among local residents dressed in period clothes whobrwill bring to life the stories of a World War I doughboy, a Civil War veteran,bra member of Woodmen of the World, a survivor of the 1836 Comanche raid onbrParker's Fort, and two sisters who recorded some of the earliest stories of thebrfirst white settlers to the area.
Tickets are required and can be purchased online. A limited number of tickets will bebravailable the night of the event. Participants should bring a smallbrflashlight, wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weatherbrconditions that evening. The tour will be held come rain or shine.
