The boldest little brewery in Grapevine just got a little bolder and bigger.
Grapevine Craft Brewery recently announced its plans to expand its brew to the live music capital of the world, Austin, TX.
"Austin is the number one craft beer sales in the state of Texas," explains Grapevine Craft Brewery CEO and founder Gary Humble. "So it's a natural progression to want to expand into that market."
As a result, Grapevine Craft Brewery will distribute both its Lakefire Ryle Ale and Monarch beers in Austin.
The brewery has roughly 10 locations that it will be delivering to in Austin next week. Humble and his crew will present Grapevine Craft Brewery pint nights throughout Austin beginning Feb. 3, including places such as Red's Porch and Whip In, Humble says.
Additionally, Grapevine Craft Brewery will begin canning Lakefire beginning in April, which will be available at select Kroger and HEB stores, as well as at many beer package stores throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin.
While a specific date is still in works on when Grapevine Craft Brewery will finish building its building. The company plans on getting built in Grapevine by the fall, according to a recent Facebook post.
