After over 10 years of development, the Grapevine Main Station will finally be open full time to the public.
The Grapevine Main Station is a $114-million development that connects the TEXRail from DFW Airport to North Richland Hills. First approved by voters in a sales tax allocation in 2006, the 42,000 square-foot development includes a 38,000 square-foot outdoor plaza, an European-style Harvest Hall that offers seven different restaurants, 552 parking spaces and a connection to the 120-room Marriott Autograph Collection property Hotel Vin.
While Harvest Hall and other parts of the station have already been opened, the whole station will open full time during its grand opening on Saturday, April 24, including its 150-foot observation tower that will be available to the public for the first time. According to a media release, the city of Grapevine will host the ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon, followed by a champagne toast and a performance by the premier party band Decades. Afterwards, guests will be able to explore the station for themselves. The first 250 attendants will receive commemorative items, including a keepsake champagne flute.
Grapevine Main Station will open at 815 S. Main St. To learn more, visit GrapevineTexasUSA.com.
