We all new Kenny Hill was the new "King of the Hill" now the do-it-all Junior QB is getting the recognition he and the team deserve. Today ESPN Dallas' Randy Jennings announced through its High School Report that Hill was honored as their Class 5A MVP.
Hill led the Dragon offense in ten come from behind victories during the season, five of which came in the playoffs, including the season's finale 36-29 State Championship Victory over Fort Bend Hightower on December 17th.
Behind impressive offensive linemen like JJ Prince and Austin Tyrone- Hill completed 63% of his passes for 3,014 yards and 25 TDs primarily to targets Peyton Williams (91 receptions, 1,164 yards and 10TDs) and Sabian Holmes (85 receptions, 1,338 yards, 14 TDs). Hill also utilized a powerful running game where he compiled 1,399 yards and 24 TDs managing both the clock and the scoreboard down the stretch.
