North Texas Performing Arts has named a new program director for the 2022-2023 performance season.
Beginning as an intern with NTPA in 2018, Paige Price graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2021 with her bachelor’s in fine arts and musical theater. After graduating, she joined NTPA as a resident director before being promoted to her full-time role.
“We are pleased to have Paige take on this significant leadership role for us as we expand our focus and investment into the Southlake area,” NTPA CEO Darrell Rodenbaugh says via media release. “In her years with NTPA, Paige has proven she can create an impactful, positive, fun and challenging performing arts experience for her student actors.”
In its first year in Southlake, the NTPA has put on several fantastic shows including “Annie Jr.,” “Frozen Jr.” and “Beauty And The Beast Jr.” This winter will also feature its holiday production, “Elf Jr.”
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to take on this exciting new role and bring my passion for the stage to the youth of Southlake,” Paige says via media release. “Having grown up in North Texas, I know this area has a great reputation for talented youth and a community supportive of the arts, and I want to work to give every child the opportunity to take the stage and have their voices heard.”
A welcoming reception for Paige will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27 in the Palace Arts Center at 300 S. Main St. To learn more about North Texas Performing Arts, visit NTPA.org/Southlake.
