On Saturday Nov. 23, the city of Southlake held their Home for the Holidays annual Tree Lighting. This event kicks off the holiday season in the city and featured a four-lane snow tubing hill, carriage rides and snowman building.
Activities for all the families and children that came included watching Christmas carolers, making holiday crafts, writing letters to Santa and indulging in a wide variety of holiday refreshments.
Throughout the rest of November and December, the city will be hosting a Toy and Food Drive as well as host carriage rides in the Square and host Santa's Village in the Square.
Southlake's December events will include breakfast with Santa, snacks with Santa and stories with Mrs. Claus.
