Do you have little ones fascinated by fire trucks and police cars? Let them explore these vehicles while meeting the brave men and women who drive them at Story Time at the Station.
On Wednesday, December 12 at 10 a.m., Southlake DPS and the Southlake Public Library will join forces to host a family-friendly event.
“Our fair citizens should come to story-time because it's so much more than that!” Southlake DPS Public Information Officer Brad Uptmore says via email.
The day will include a reading of Chris Britt's “The Most Perfect Showman," a puppet show and sing-a-long.
The story itself follows children who are searching for warm clothes for their snowman, which is a perfect match for their winter clothing drive. Throughout the event, the departments will be collecting hats, gloves, scarves and socks that will benefit Christmas is for Children. They will also be gathering toys and food as well.
