It's not a surprise that Northeast Tarrant County is a location most residents are proud of. To further prove this point, a recent list ranked the top 10 best neighborhoods in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, which featured two cities from this area.
This ultimately gave us another reason to boast about our city and surrounding neighbors.
The Dallas Morning News put together a list of "the best of the best" overall neighborhoods and both Southlake and Keller earned a top spot.
Coming in at No. 8, our friends in Keller boasts low crime and popular city facilities such as The Keller Pointe, an 87,940-square-foot multi-use recreation facility that features an aquatic area.
Following right behind Keller is Southlake at No. 9. The city features some of the survey’s wealthiest residents and also was the most expensive neighborhood, with a $512,500 median home value in the highest-ranking of its tracts that were surveyed.
Consequently, Southlake properties have been appreciating quickly thanks in part to highly rated schools.
On a similar note, according to a list from FindTheBest — which put together a list of the richest zip codes in America — Southlake ranks No. 9 out of the top 15 wealthiest neighborhoods in America.
