The city of Southlake has done it again, this time making Dallas Morning News' 2015 Best DFW Neighborhoods list. The contenders were scored using 11 different parameters, including safety, quiet, affordability, landscaping, commute, appreciation, parks, pets, things to do, walkability, and schools.
Southlake came in at No. 8 on the list, ranking exceptionally high in safety, quietness and landscaping. Town Square and Carroll ISD have a lot to do with our city making the list.
"In Southlake, community cohesiveness is as prized as the lauded Carroll school system and upscale retail stores that dot the Northeast Tarrant County suburb," the article says.
Population is closing in on 30,000 in 2015 and commercial growth continues.
Other nearby gems making the list include Trophy Club (5), Grapevine (4), and Colleyville (2). At the very top was West Plano. Flower Mound and Keller received honorable mention.
