Southlake will be celebrating the Lunar New Year in a big and bold way this weekend.
On Saturday, Feb. 12, the city of Southlake will be hosting its inaugural spring festival to recognize the beginning of the Lunar New Year and pay tribute to East Asian cultures and traditions. From 2-6 p.m. in Southlake Town Square, the spring festival will have food trucks, live performances and family-friendly activities to participate in, including making lanterns. The event will wrap up around 6:30 p.m., where attendants will meet in front of the town hall fountain with their lanterns and walk toward the Hilton Pond.
