Texas Rangers fans are invited to celebrate the team’s first-ever World Series victory on Friday, Nov. 3.
After a landslide 5-0 win against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Nov. 1, the Texas Rangers are celebrating their record-breaking achievement with a World Series Victory Parade at the Entertainment District in Arlington.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 12:15 p.m. on Cowboys Way at Supra Lot A just south of Globe Life Field, where it will loop in a clockwise fashion for about 1.9 miles. The parade will include all Texas Rangers players, Arlington’s mayor Jim Ross, city council and first responders, as well as local school marching bands.
A 30-minute public ceremony led by Texas Rangers Hall of Famer Chuck Morgan will follow the parade in the Globe Life Field North Plaza and the adjacent Tundra Lot B.
“The Texas Rangers’ World Series victory is a dream five decades in the making,” Arlington mayor Jim Ross says via media release. “We want fans to come out to the Entertainment District this Friday and really enjoy the moment, soak it all up and have a great time.”
