This summer, your child has the opportunity to become onebrwith nature. The Growing Up Wild program will take place August 8 from 9 a.m.brto noon. Campers ages 4 through 11 are invited for a day of exploration ofbrnature. Instructors will teach kids about animal habitats, how to identifybrtheir tracks, as well as help them with fun activities like making their ownbrplaster animal tracks.
Growing Up Wild aims to provide an early foundation forbrdeveloping positive impressions about the natural world. Activities will focusbron outdoor explorations, scientific inquiry, art projects, music and movement,brconservation activities, reading and math connections and “Healthy Me”brdovetailing with the Let's Move Campaign.
Small snacks and water will be provided to campers, but kidsbrcan bring a lunch if needed. Parents are welcome to stay with their child orbrsimply drop them off at 9 a.m. and come back at noon.
Growing Up Wild is hosted by Keep Trophy Club Wild, abrnonprofit dedicated to the education, preservation, recreation, and restorationbrof the conservation area within Trophy Club Park.
