Tomorrow marks the beginning of GRACE Grapevine’s online fundraiser "24 Hours of GRACE." The fundraiser began “several years ago when we realized that contributions and awareness declines significantly in the spring, while the need for these vital services increases,” GRACE Grapevine CEO Shonda Schaefer says in an email.
Due to recurring gifts and one-time gifts, GRACE was able to serve more than 11,000 clients this past year, which was “twice the average number of clients in previous years,” Shonda says.
Donations during "24 Hours of Grace" can be made online. Those who donate a $10/week gift or a $500+ pledge will receive a “Choose GRACE” lawn sign.
