For the 24th year in a row, the club is hosting their annual 5K and 15K, Bold in the Cold. The top three finishers will be awarded in every age group, and an overall master’s and grandmaster’s winner will be selected for the top male and female runner.

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is hitting the road this month. Co-hosted by the Apex Arts League, DSO On The Go is a mobile music initiative that brings the sounds of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra to local communities around North Texas. During its stop in Southlake, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will swing by White’s Chapel, where all are welcome to enjoy the enriching sounds of the orchestra right in their backyard.

The city of Dallas will honor and commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a week-long celebration of his life, legacy and the change he inspired. The week will include a full lineup of events such as a day of prayer, a community cleanup, a wreath-laying ceremony and an equity symposium. A scholarship and awards gala will also feature keynote speaker Rev. Dr. Frederick D. Haynes III, Tashara Parker and special guest John Wiley Price. After the celebrations are over, the community will march together in a parade celebrating Dr. King’s dream.
